im in the middle of completing a g16b conversion into my wt sierra and i have noticed my stock 1.3 accel cable wont reach, what have others used instead? its for a g16b out of a vitara (dizzy model, intake crosses the rocker cover)

i just used the standard vitara one. i just put the pedal end through the fork and placed a nut and bolt through the hole in the pedal that is already there can take a photo if needed
|

Ive used one from a sv21 camry, only as I had no vit one and the wreckers are full of camrys

I used a tbi swift cable, and changed the end of the pedal to suit.

I modified the stock one and used go kart cable clamps to make it awesome.

adamp493 what kind of vitara cable did you use, a efi or carby? im guessing efi i think i will go down the lines of a efi cable.

I use a Vit cable in my Sierra. Same car the motor came out of. (94 SWB EFI).
I have heard that Vit cables can be hard to get. If I needed one I'd probably look at Camry like AJSR said.

I'm having trouble visualizing what adamp is talking about. Does anyone have a picture of what they've done. Here is what I have.

That looks like a vitara carby one.
I used a swb efi cable. wacked it in the bracket. Pushed it through the firewall. Then put the little cylinder bit on the end of cable through the fork in the top of the pedal then clamped the fork around it super tight.

right that might explain my problem then. I'll try the wreckers tomorrow for an efi cable then.

yeah mate grab a efi cable for 1.6. Im pretty sure suzi store sell em but there hell expensive.
