So I've got my old baleno motor out my wt swb thats going into my new Maruti. I took out my old vss setup out my wt dash and was wondering if its all the same behind the 1ltr dash? I haven't had time to pull out the 1ltr cluster yet

The clusters are different.
You can make it work but you'll need to do abit of soldering

My VSS isn't connected and it's running fine....just uses abit of extra fuel but it's not too bad

BTW - The thread about WT cluster into NT.....be careful as i know you don't have a tacho on yours
The 1L clusters are different betweent the models and the actual speedo itself will not fit into the one with tacho and vise versa
I just found this out recently as i was putting in a cluster with a tacho. I planned to swap my speedo's over but they're tatally different at the back...even the backing plates is different and can not be changed.
From what i can see....you need to have a WT cluster and an early NT (WITH TACHO)

Thanks,
I had the vss up and running in the swb wt, like the Jrzook thread, haven't had chance to pull out the Maruti Speedo to see if it will work the same.

I've got the VSS hooked up to the original speedo (1L cluster without the tacho) so it could save you stuffing around
The bonus is it has only 92,000km on the clock
