Does a 1994 vitara come out with a carburetor motor as I'm in the market for a vitara and have found a 1994 model with a carburetor motor I thought the carburetor only come in the 88-92 models

Yep. 94 was the changeover year, so could be either.

If its a soft top, the build plate should say SE416C type 3.
