Some tie rod and kit sellers claim " only suit LWB or SWB or years etc." I would assume all were same, but I could be wrong. Not found any differences in drag link types, but worth asking the oracles |

There are differences but I have only found them to be for the standard Vitara and the "sport" which has slight bends near the end of the draglink. I would say for clearance. |

Thanks. WWill keep that in mind, too. My drag link is straight, and my tie rods look same as what is pictured on ebay. No hurry yet, but a dicky tie rod boot means it will need a replacement at some time. I could cheap out and buy just the one tie rod, but total replacement of all sounds wise on a 19 year old car. |

These look like mine. Very cheap, which is good and also a worry. Located in Aus which is good and unusual. Don't include a drag link. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-TIE-ROD-EN ... 27b4f26960 |

I bought from that supplier the whole set up including the drag link & tie rods. The actual parcel was sent from Taiwan(? - only from memory but it was from one of those countries lol) I had problems with the drag link etc sitting too close to my diff - getting diff drops fixed my problem & left enough room so they didn't hit anymore. (i think the end bits are a bit fatter then the stock ones - not the actual bolts they are fine i mean the size of the actual joint) Quality wise - mine have been ok. i haven't had any problems yet but i do have a small split in one of the boots (maybe i did it up too tight?) (But note my car only really gets used for 4x4ing.) i couldn't notice any size differences when i put them next to my stock ones only that the joint is a bit fatter at the end hope this helps christover1 wrote: These look like mine.

Already have a diff drop, and seems to be plenty of room, so that should be fine. No hurry, yet, too much else is on the to do list first. |

Are you looking for an upgrade or just an equal replacement? I have at least two sets of vitara tie rods/drag links here that would be going down the tip. IMHO a 2.0 vitara might have a different drag link due to the wider chassis (?) but the tie rods should be the same as the wishbones are the same length. Steve. |

I just have one torn boot, been that way a while. Happy to grab the tierods and drag links off you. Can't hurt to have spares. I can come up anytime, or if you can bring to meeting be nice? |

I won't have time to sort it out before the meeting - I have to split rods off of steering boxes / out of cars etc. They are here though if you need them. Steve. |
