hi,just wondering if someone can tell me if a swift tbi motor could be run with my gotpropane kit and inlet manifold off my sierra 1.3 and if my extractors would fit or are they a different head like the g16b?so basically are they a A or B setup? and how much less do they have then a baleno/vit efi motor figure wise? thanks |

They are pretty much a B motor. G13A stuff won't fit the head. |

i have a g16b baleno motor here, low km extremely good condition etc etc still in a car running beautifully that ill be stupid not to use. just really like the propane kit i have as its simple and works so well and probably wont be the easiest kit to sell off unless for offroad only style rig. and going efi means fuel cell, pump, surge, fuel lines, mounting computer somewhere safe and dry bla bla as opposed to a carby vit bolting straight up as such and run my manifolds for some gain, i know not as much as going the efi option though i have a swift tbi motor i can use that i have seen but havent looked at manifolds etc yet.gave a bloke a old tcase i had to get him going and got this as trade if of use. |

Well I've no idea about the TBI swift, but I owned a TBI vitara motor, and it was most definately 8v and same as sierra. |

My TBI swift manifold didn't bolt up to my G13A. I ended up having a custom adapter plate made up. Everything else is pretty simple, tho in your position, I would just use the complete and running baleno engine. |
