just wondering how do you adjust your handbrake in a 92 sierra? cheers.

Underneath the vehicle have a look at where it meets the handbrake lever and undo the lock nut then rotate the adjuster nut until your handbrake stops you on a good hill but doesn't drag. Will need to jack up the rear wheels to check for drag. Alot of the time if your rear brakes aren't adjusted right your handbrake will feel like it isn't working (because its not) so try adjusting your rear brakes first and if it doesn't fix it then do the handbrake adjustment.

WT= First thing to check is if you have any rear brake shoes left.
