A mate of mine is having carby problems and wants to put fuel injection on his 94 1.3l. is there a kit hit can buy or is it a custom job?
He doesn't want to do an engine swap as he has spent a lot of coin on the head and top end .
Has anyone on here done it before?

Easiest thing would be to buy a used tbi efi system off an older g16b swift or similar basic tbi system. Will need adaptor to intake manifold and prob more custom parts im not sure about.

Or import a used 1.3efi system from the US.

This also means more wiring, ecu, Surge tank/coily/vit tank etc.

Or get the carb rebuilt/change to a 1.6 vit carb. Heard they are a better design from people on here.

Im pulling my tbi injection off my 1.3 sierra and running straight gas so itll he up for sale soon if your interested the only problem with it is the computer being set for a 1.6 youll have to just get it reset for a 1.3 im taking it off complete so itll basically be a straight drop in
