Post subject:  Sparky Question - Fuel pump power

I'm running a Bosch HP pump off a Megasquirt Ecu. Since installing it I've found that I need to turn the ignition on then off then back on before the pump will start. Its more of an annoyance than anything but it would be nice to not have to worry about it. I originally thought it was the ecu but I noticed the other day while connected to the laptop that the ecu thinks that its activating the pump relay as soon as the ignition is on. Could this be something to do with + wire gauge that I've got running back to the pump or possibly the rating of the trigger on the relay? Why would it turn on the second or third time but not the first? Any ideas?

Check you have power going to the relay on the first attempt. It may still be an ECU thing
