Those numbers are useless unless you specify what speeds you were travelling at. Gearing differences between drive and speedo is a percentage. Your speedo won't say you are doing 10kph slower than 0 when you are stopped just because your gearing has changed.

Aftermarket electric speedo, or get an instrument mob to sort out a reduction box or new gears in your speedo. An electric speedo is waaaaaaay simpler if you can find something the engineer will approve. Hint - pushbike speedo wont cut it!

Pushy speedos rule. I put one on my dads moto cos his doesnt work.... but alas, weekilla is right, the engineer wont approve.
If you dont have a gps, maybe your smartphone does. Download a dashboard app and viola!
As for correcting your factory speedo, check zukenutters build thread, i think he got an electronic kit from jaycar?

Those numbers are useless unless you specify what speeds you were travelling at.. sorry, at 100kph the Vitara is 8kph out with 30's & 75 series AT's - 10kph out with 31's With the sierra, sitting on about 80 reads 10kph under on 30's and about 5-8kph lower on 75 series tyres- I say about becasue I havn't had the GPS in it to give me the correct number and am using other traffic as referance.
