I've been reading up a bit about a mod where you can put an offcentered bush in the lower control arm on a Vit. I know christover has done this to his Vit but is it possible to do it with the GV? So chris.......where did you get the bush and what stops it moving around when installed? Also what is the outside dimension of the Vit Bush? Now my understanding is it pushes the wheels out and forward giving better rear wheel arch clearance and improves the front camber. But how far out does it push the wheels? all information appreciated. |

pretty sure his caster bushes came from bits4vits, looks like there are a few options. http://www.bits4vits.co.uk/store/vitara ... cat_1.html |

Yes I got them from Bits4Vits, they have thier own version, but also sell an Aussie made set. (cheaper than bought locally) When you do up the bolt, it presses on the centre crush tube, thus locking it in position. Mine don't appear to have moved. They only about 3 - 4mm off centre, but worked a treat. |

What i need to find out is if the Vit rear bush is the same size as the Gv rear bush. Ive measured the GV bush to be about 40mm.....what is the Vit one? |

I don't have any accurate measuring devices, but by tape measure seems to be close to 40mm wide, 70mm long. Thought I had an old one, but no luck, so crawled under the vit |

I bought the cheaper Bits4Vits brand kit, included new front bushes as well, was about $100AU plus postage, which wasn't much. The caster correction only bushes were around $75AU a pair. But due to him sending wrong bits first up, which stuffed me around, he sent me the dearer Aussie made superpro kit for no extra. He would be happy to measure them up for you, cos that could sell him more stuff. |

Not sure how sucessful it would be as the replacement arms i bought have rubber bushes in them and im not sure if you have ever tried to drill a neat hole in a rubber bush but its never worled for me. |

I had to hack mine out, bloody things, I hate rubber A arm bushes now. But I meant drill out a stock GV polly bush. Use the Vit off centre centre bit. But hopefully all the same. Would make sense if they used common parts through the Suzuki range. |
