Hey everyone, A few days ago I picked up a new Sierra/Drover. It's a 1985 deluxe model with all the standard parts. When I went to look at it originally it had a problem were the car would rev a bit high and tend to stall from time to time (Coming from higher rpm to stationary). The next day when I got home I did a bit of a service ( oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, coolant, leads, dizzy and the rotor button from the dizzy). Whilst I was doing the service I noticed a large amount of vacuum lines were missing, So I got online and found a Drover service manual and tried to match the lines up as best as I could. However once I did all those vac lines the car started running rough and missing (There was a slight miss before the service, but now its worse). It struggles to start and stay running, once I do get it running and take it for a drive I have a lack of power until about 3500rpm then the car pulls again, it seems very hesitant at times, especially when it begins to move from a stationary position. Yesterday I removed all the lines I had added and the car still ran rough, I even took it to Suzuki shop in Cannington and the they told me the timing was a little bit out but there is something else going on (seems like the car is running on 3 cylinders and runs worse when the choke is held open). When I got home that day I started to remove each lead while the car was running to see if there was a change in idle. I noticed when I removed the ignition lead corresponding to cylinder 4 there was no change in idle, I removed the lead and held it to the body and there was a spark. Following that I removed the spark plug and noticed it was wet. I installed the plug into the end of the lead and sure enough the spark plug had a strong spark. That led me to believe that for some reason cylinder 4 is not firing. Would any one have an idea as to what is going on?
