guessing this is an air breather for the steering box. would u suggest i run a hose and little filter up higher for it like i do for the diffs and gearbox?

Somebody has fitted that. They normally just have a pinhole in the plug. No need for a dirty great hose tail like that, the stocko setup works to let air in/out without water getting in. |

Get a pneumatic silencer with 1/4"bsp thread. Will do the job nicely |
