hey guys
i am jst wondering can i get gears that dont lower high range i would jst lik low range to be lower

you can rocklobster your transfer that involes using half your original gears and half the gears out of a one litre transfer
you have to get some machining and stuff done though

at the moment BBM are having a sale for series 4 rock hoppers at $750 is this a good price?

they all lower high range, there is no way around it the way sierra transfers are designed

the 4.1 gears from low range don't lower your high range, i'm pretty sure the series 3 rockhopper gears don't as well.

yes they both do, 4.1 change high range to be same as a 1 litre

and RH3 are 18% reduction. On 31's it returns gearing to almost standard.

and 4.1 (series 1's) are the same ratio as a rocklobster.

would only lower high range in a 1.3 by 12% from memory.

if ya doin gears to compensate for larger tyres then you will want to drop high a little. A 1ltr t/case will drop high and low by about 12% (good for 30in tyres) and most reduction gears will lower high by about 20% (Good for 31 and 33's)
Since doin 5.12 gears for my zook it has never driven better on the road and thats with NT diffs and 31 extremes.

i only hav 215 tires so its not that bad any way i jst would like first to be a bit lower but it doesnt matter
