hey guys, bit of a question here.

has anyone put SWB front axles in there LWB? i have started doing this, passanger side went together fine, free wheels and locks ok, however while putting the drivers side together i noticed the cv is bottoming out on my stub axle before it disengages to free wheel (cant get out of locked).

Any insight would be very appreciated.

Thanks

My LWB was a 83 1.0 litre. I think 85's were 1.0 litre also.
If the SWB axles are from a 1.3 then the cv's are bigger.

I fitted 1.3 cv'/axles in mine no troubles.
But some people have needed to loosen the king pins,
too allow axles to seat properly?
