i've got an electronic water temperature gauge and was wondering if i hooked it up to the factory sender whether it would give an accurate reading

search? if i wanted to search i would ask this question on a different forum
and don't worry i've already tried the undo stuff to see if i can fit a sender thing but i thought there might be somewhere i haven't thought of yet

nah next to teh sender if you have the hole or where the vacuum thing goes in

why have 2 gauges anyway?

so that thing with the hoses that screws into the manifold near the temp sender can be taken out?

well i've got a temperature gauge so why not use it plus i don't trust the factory one because it thats like 15mins to register anything

aren't 1.3 and 1.6 senders the same? i bought one that i swapped between engines, i'm sure.

no 1.6 in a sierra gauge reads wrong remember

unless they have started making them, or supercheap jsut gave you something to get rid of you
