I know this has been done to death and knowing QLD parliament it wont achieve anything but they've put a new petition up for the introduction of the National Code of Practice. A number of the other states have already fallen into line with this. It was put up on the 12th of September. The NCOP basically makes the guidelines a lot clearer. The biggest one for us is the increase to 50mm but realistically on Sierra's that's still a damn small tyre. It might get the vit drivers into a reasonable size though.

You can sign it at the parliament link below.

Yeah I'd heard 1st November was the date also but everywhere I look leads to rumours and hearsay. I wouldn't have thought the QLD parliament would register an official petition with a closing date after the planned roll out though if it has already been passed. Who knows with politics though.

NCOP come in to action on the 1st of november. There is a rush to get roll cages and turbo V8's plated at the moment as these things won't be compliable after then. There are a number of things that we can't do now that we will be able to do after the 1st of Nov though. I'm not sure how it relates to 4x4's so much though. I know coilovers and minitubs will be engineerable.
