i was wondering who has done a body lift on their sierra, what did you do with the carburetor boot to the air cleaner. i just did a 2 inch body lift but the boot is kinking cuz the motor has dropped. does it affect the air flow at all? |

Many make up spacers or find another hose to go from carby hat to air box. Your motor hasn't dropped, you have lifted the body, hence the term body lift. |

go to Bunnings or a plumbing supply shop and look for a Vinidex female/female pipe connector that will fit over the carby, the connector is about 100mm long so cut it in half for a perfect 2 inch carby hat lift. |

I used a 1.0 litre air cleaner, was much easier to fit with body lift. |
