Post subject:  Recovery points

Howdy I have a swb Suzuki vitara, I'm looking at fitting recovery hooks front and rear as I only have tie down points, I'm woundering is it safe to attach theses though the chassi rails with the high tensile bolts or if there's a better way, any help would be great

If you have a rear tow bar, usually the recovery points can be bolted to that.

On the front, bits4vits do a tidy looking recovery bar that is quite easy to replicate. It is essentially a threaded bar that runs through the front tubular cross member.

I am sure there are other options,we currently have hooks bolted into the bottom of the front chassis rails, going into tapped flat bar. Easier described with a photo though...
