Post subject:  sierra front locking hub springs

I have a damaged spring in my SJ80's drivers front locking hub.

Does anyone know if the springs would be the same as leafys

I have heard they are the same externals as a hilux and the wreckers want $170 for the complete hub.

I have rung around the wreckers in Brisbane and no-one seems to have anything that fits.

Does anyone know what other car hubs would have the same spring?

Also does any of the Auszookers in Brisbane have one of these spare parts???

The spring should be interchangeable as its still an 'aisan' part and they all look the same to me. Only internal spline section different.

lux, cruiser vit, sierra, etc etc, all cars with aisan manual hubs

ps. make sure safe search is on google or bing

FFS i know suzuki owners are cheap arses but come on.
you should be able to pick up a sierra hub second hand for $20-30

yeah $20-30 would be great. wreckers wanted $170 for a surf's hub, which should have the same spring

how bout putting a wanted add up in the wanted section on here?

unless you go and pull the part your self wreckers are going to over charge. its what they do
