If you are worried, take it to a tow bar or trailer shop to check if it is safe. I'm fairly sure the place no longer exists. |

Even if you can find them they would not be able to give you an answer. They are made in China and don't necessarily comply with any Australian standards. Having said that though I have their standard tow bar and all the welds look good. I have used it for recovery only (no towing) and it seems quite solid. My only issue was that both the tongue and tow ball supplied were imperial and useless in Australia. I also threw away the horribly undersized bolts they supplied and got a larger size grade 10.9 bolts all round. As Chris says get it checked out by an engineer or a tow bar place. If properly attached the chassis my bet is that it will be OK. You probably also have a 50mm x 50mm hitch receiver on it which is the main reason I got it. You can buy a standard Aussie hitch to fit it. |

Marricville, Sydney is were the workshop is. Have a look around the forum. A number of people have spent some coin buying parts off them. They should have contact details. I think someone N.T. way with a jimny spent alot of money from here. Cheers, Rob. |
