My carby 93 vitara manual stalls when you pit it into gear and when you roll to the lights in gear it stalls but in neutral it keeps idling if you keep the revs up it keeps going but runs rough any ideas

Sounds more to me like something to do with your clutch. Not to mechanically savvy but I would be looking there first.
