Hey guys. i wanted to build some rock sliders for my sierra. Just wondering if i wanted to use round tube, what size O.D. tube would i have to buy and what wall thickness will it have to be? Also for the plates that mount to the chassis, what thickness should they be? cheers guys n gals! |

Why do you want to weld them? U clamp style works fine and is legal. Better yet tsor sliders. |

Where did he say he wants to weld them? There's a thread about this that went a bit nuts recently... viewtopic.php?f=14&t=36121 Short answer is 32NB and U-mounts with the bolts passing over the chassis rails (unless you want to get carried away and make some overly pretty ones like Pete always does |

Sorry misunderstanding, thought you meant reinforcing plates to weld to chassis |
