The windows don't open that far do they?? You could add some mesh or something if you're really concerned |

The mrs dog is pretty small haha,my amstaff would have serious problems slipping out the window. Think im gonna have to do some custom work on this one. |

Mesh or chicken wire would look cool. Or supercheap etc sell a plastic mesh for dog proofing windows |

Agreed. The dog should be on a harness into the seatbelt clip. We use one for our sausage |

Super dooper only have those plastic mesh doodalackies for wind up windows. I'd say get some of that cargo bunji cord stuff but yes apparently it is against the law not to have your dog tied from an anchor point in the middle a moving car. (obviously not applicable to country bumpkins or work dogs) I always see little yap yaps sitting on the parcel tray and think, hmm that would be rather messy in a crash. One of the worst things I've seen was a dog being tied up on the side of a ute, the dog jump out, hind legs barely touching the ground and being dragged for about 10-15mts before the driver realised the people yelling at him. Kicks the dog and chucks him back in the ute.. I got his number plate and called RSPCA but not sure what came of it. |
