Has anyone figured out how to change oil filter on current model GV? I tried to get there through heat shield cover area, could not get my hands through, put the car on ramps, tried from the bottom (!) still too far away... Bloody impossible...

It sucks. I use a abw filter tool and it bearly works ok. I wonder if Suzuki has a service tool that is easier to use

The Repco one on sale is the 9 piece of kit. The 15 piece on has a trade pricing of about $135.

Yeah the 2.7 Oil filter takes abit of wrist articulation... and alot of patients... If you drop the filter, it goes down into the bottom of the engine bay and is a mongrel to get back out...
Being right under the manifold.. it makes Hot motor Oil drop outs a big No No.. Unless your prepared to get burned knuckles and alot of swearing..
