Hey guys, So after the 2" body lift i need to lift the front bull bar. From what i can see, this is going to be tuff.... So.. Currenty, The Bull bar is Mounted with 4 bolts onto the chassy, To move this part up is easy (I just need to make 2" plates, weld them on, ect ect...) The confusing part is... Currently the bottom of the bull bar is held on via 2 U bolts. These bolts go around a Cilinder like part on the chassy.. Question is, How do i fix this part???!!!! PICS TO COME! Extra info: CAR: SWB Vitara - 1995 Bull bar: Unknown, (looks like ARB but is NOT an ARB bar(from what im told)) Thanks, Sam |

have a look at BRAD's brand new ARB bar in his thread, apart from being a winch bar it's identical. all mounts will need to be extended 2" should be pretty straight forward. |

Only problem is ill have to cut the bottem mount off the bar(the circle one, and re weld it with a spacer? Might just sell it and make a tube bar if it comes to that... |

If the mounts are welded to the bar itself then yes, you'll have to cut and extend the bottom mounts from memory. They are a PITA on the early shorties. |
