Ive accidentally removed this shift fork out of a sierra case and the little ball has fell out
Now i cant reassemble it. I cant get the shift fork back in because the ball is in the road. ..... Help please

The other rod has a dimple in it for the ball, move te other rod around till the ball sits back in further. Next, I sit the (currently out) rod partially in, put the other spring loaded ball in and with 3 hand push the ball in the hole, hold the case and move the rod through and back to position. Done! |

Haha, I miss read that as ball is on the road, as in it sprung out and you lost it. |

Another trick for anyone else to get the ball to depress (provided it's still in there and you want to switch between positions the fork can rest in) is to rotate the fork (this is easy) which pushes the ball back in, slide, rotate back, much easier than pushing it really hard! |

It wasnt the ball on the other side were you rotate the shifter and push in. It was the other ball what has the litlle spring under it. I had to push the other shifter right in, push the ball in with a screw driver while holding the shift fork in the hole and gave it a tap with a mallet. |
