245/75/16 is 30.5", so you're probably up for 2" suspension + 2" body lift + a bit of guard massaging to make them fit (or a buttload of guard massaging without the lift.) You'll also need to adjust your steering stops so the tyres don't foul on the chassis. |

If i can fit them on a GV without a body lift you should have no hassle getting them to fit a Vit. Gearing will be your majour issue. |

Cheers DarkHourse, I'v got a LWB V6 Escudo 2" lift kit to chuck in to my SWB V6, But thats all im hopen it'll be enough to fit tire's??? |

Oh yeah, I'v got the GV 16" rim's on my truck lol, But yeah the gearing is a little conserning for me lucky i'v got a auto tran's so will adventurlly swap to 5.12 ratio diffs once i blow these one's i got atm i gess. Apparently swiching to 5.12 diff's bring the ratio to only like 4% from standard with the bigger wheels on..... |

I was running 31s for ages with the 1.6 and manual, but got a bit of help from the 5.12 diffs. 2L auto pushing 30.5" will be OK - not great, but OK. Transfer gears would help a lot. With no body lift you're going to need to do a bit of panel beating, or massive bump-stop extensions |

Haha massive bump stop ya rekon.... What about the Calmini pinion and ring gears thay make for the diff's??? Would this be a good option for me to consider to keep my gearing near to standard. I realy dont want to throw my gearing out to high with these 30.5 tire's as i realy like the way the truck respond's on standard size tire's |

I have 245/75/16 on a lwb v6 vit with no body lift I've hammered and trimmed gaurds only rubbing I get is when i hit a massive bump at high speed but a very small bump stop spacer would fix that and 5.12 diff gears from a 1.6 vit will give you a nice reduction |

Cheers guy's, Me rim is a neg offset i'm sure, unsure by how much tho i'm running the 16x7 GV rim on me 2L Escudo. I'm told with these GV rim i shouldn't have any problem's with rubbing on inner wall/chassie at full lock? I have had the rim with tire (245/75/16) on in me garage for a bit now, And what im thinking is ill put the 2 rear's on today and take it for a spin to see how the gearing is effected, then switch back over to standards. Then wait till i'v put suspension 2.5" lift in then get all for on permanently. By altering the bump stop's dose that effect how high up the wheel can go in the wheel arch??? |

I guess i have no other choice but to do some sort of body lift as well as the 2.5" suspension lift??? |

GV rims are a +5 offset, yes bumpstop extensions will limit uptravel and stop tyre hitting guards. |

mate i have between 2 and 3 inch lift depends on which spacers im runing at the time the only cutting i have done is the rear door there is a little plastic overlapping piece that needed cutting and on the front the lower inner part of the plastic flare needed a chop the actual wheel arch shape didnt change at all with a 10mm bump stop spacer in the front i wouldnt have a problem at all as i only get very slight rubbing if im really motoring along and hit a big bump id do the diff gears out of a 1.6 vit of 5.12 i have them in mine however i think you are already 4.8 diff gears and i was 4.6 but the auto should also help with the tiny difference |

I am running kumho kl71's on my 95 sv620 and they are 245/75r16's and the only problem I have had is they rub the chassis on full lock. Add some 5.12 diff gears with them and the speedo is only out by 4km an hour. So no serious problems getting them to fit. And I only have 2" coil spacers at the moment. |
