Does SQ625 GV ECU have a rev limit function? I'm certain I saw the tacho needle dance into the red a couple of times the other day when getting off a particularly soft beach. |

Every efi ecu should be limited. My civic used to rev into redline, But not all the way. Test it My Baleno efi motor is, Thats how i set the original tacho needle/baleno gauges in my instrument cluster. |

First time I didn't hear any bahbahbahbahhhh noise and it began to run like absolute shit because it had a gutfull of unburned fuel. I got them to log the ECU for codes and explained what happened to the service dudes at the next service (a week later) and that was their explanation, over-fuelling on the limiter. Their advice: If it runs on what feels like two cylinders after a high revving flog, switch the engine off for a couple minutes and restart it. Does that sound right? Anyone else had this? |

The rev limiter should cut fuel and spark so this problem doesn't occur. Switching engine off and restarting would just help let the excess fuel disapate a bit. |
