Post subject:  Wiper access, etc, on a Sierra

I have a soft top Sierra - just wondering the best way to get to the wiper-washer system? I have a blockage somewhere behind my dash and need to get it sorted for RWC. Not sure if it's the spray nozzle or something else. Water pump is fine, it's something within the water line.

Any tips?

I found my washer hose was caught (crimped) in the fold of the windscreen. Once you drop the screen down its pretty easy to see everything

Very common.

Not a bad idea to fold the screen from time to time to check that there's no corrosion taking hold.

Having said that though, I've fitted VW washers to Piggles, running the VW pump in series with the suzuki pump. Much better than the stock setup, although they do require cutting accurate, rectangular holes in the bonnet.
