Post subject:  wheel track and wheel base on a old NT sierra?

Im after a few specs on a NT sierra

I need to drag my old sierra back from Mt Isa, plan is to attempt to squeeze it onto my 7x5 trailer. .

its got standard NT axle housings, an rocky rims which are huge offset, so the plan was to flip the rims to narrow the track, my mate up there is on shift at work and cant go get the measurements for a few more days, but I need to organise another option if its not going to work.

so what im after is if people can measure the full width on there sierra and give me weather its WT or NT and what the rims/tires are so I can do some estimates.

also what is the wheelbase on a stock NT with no lift?

it will be a chassis with diffs and tub on it nothing else so the weight wont bother me at all just the size. . already towing another car back on a car trailer with the the other car were taking (moving my mate back to brisbane and this is our project sierra with a mini body on it :) )

cheers.

I think he mean 80 inches for wheelbase unless it's a longwheel base

The "Track" (ie the measurement from the centreline of the tread from one tyre to the other) is 1200mm. With standard tyres, the outer face of one tyre to the other will be around 1400mm, so should fit within a 5ft wide trailer. Flippng NT rims will actually increase the track.
