Hey guys, I've recently installed a set of trail gear 6.5 crawlers in my 95 sierra, and everything went well during the install or so I thought. The problem is now I cant get the transfer to select Low range. It shifts through 2wd, 4h, and N without a problem, and physically shifts into low... but the gears wont engage when the shifter is on low. When I turn the input flange, neither output flange will turn, where as they engage with 2wd and 4h. If I hold the shift lever down all the way the flanges will spin, but the second I let go of the shifter they stop Any suggestions for what I may have done wrong would be greatly appreciated, this thing is soooooo close to being finished

Did you remove any detent balls in the shifter rods , if you did your gearshifter could be in the wrong spot , Cheers Paul. |

cool, so it's most likely a simple adjustment of the shift rods? I didn't remove the decent, I put it back together as per the instructions. And considering everything else works as it should, I'm hoping this is the answer... thanks gents |
