Undo the catch (loop on the car) and move it over

I have/had the same problem. There is no allowable movement in the striker mech.

I ended up sticking neoprene rubber around the door to push against the rubber door seal on. This compressed the door seal and helped prevent door movement.

I've used self adhesive weatherstrip around the door opening of the body - there's usually a rub mark where the door seal no longer seals that you can follow.

Have you had it off to check? Quite often it doesn't look like it but there is. Not sure with Suzukis tho

Yes I have - on a GV the loop has perhaps 1/16" of movement.

Have you tried turning the round black platic/rubber locator on the body? its actually adjustable by loosening the bolt and turning because its off centre.

Doesn't seem to affect the sealing that much, it does have a big impact on the rattle - what you end up doing is adjusting the rubber buffer to hold the door against the striker (the loop) so that it does not rattle, and let the seal do it's own thing - if it's too flat to seal properly, that's when you need the weather stripping.

or as i said it the seal has been squashed and isnt sealing just go buy a new one. You can buy the stuff online or at Clark Rubber..

If the door is out of alignment then i think there is a little bit of adjustment at the hinges and striker. If this is not enough then you need to manipulate the door itself. Ive had to bend the top glass section on mine forward as it was leaking. Be carefull not to flex the glass as i can break, bend it at the base of the glass where it sits on the main body work.
