I pulled out my old rear diff from my SJ70 soft top. and i have discovered it to be welded. i was going to use the parts from it to do my chromos change over but cant use the side gears now.

Is there any harm in putting the welded rear straight into the front diff till i can source the right parts for my?

If you don't want to turn corners a welded front is great.

Horses for courses, it's cheap, effective (never leaks air) and works everytime.

It does take getting use to but nothing all that terrible.

Tho considering you have two spartan lockers and a set of chromo's in the shed buying another set of side gears seems like the best option...
