Hey all. Just noticed this when I was cleaning the car. Cause for concern? Or have I just stuck too much grease in there at one stage? I have degreased it off now.

leaking axle seal i would say. it will keep leaking and eventually you will need to fix it up, but it happens to us all

Oh righto. I only just changed them a year ago. I thought it was grease, was pretty thick

Rookie question but, Could water in the diff/axel cause this as well?

i suppose water would cause the seal to tear up thus causing this.

You only need to fill the cv knuckle with about 100ml of grease that's all suzuki recommend.

Reputable brand seal. Oh well, I'll have to do it again I guess. No big deal.
Any suggestions where to buy these? I think I went o/s last time.

if your just doing the seals buy them from a bearing shop. should be no more than $5 each

Ah right so just take the old ones in then? Or do I need to get axle dimensions? I have been a bit of a mail order whore lately....
