Hi all, I currently have a 1994 Suzuki Sierra and i've bought some Narva H4 7" conversion kits for my headlights. Now i went to put them in and i realised they haven't got the three tabs on the outside of the headlight like the original ones do and i've heard rumours you just pull that tab assembly off but its spot welded to the outside of the headlamp. Do i have to buy a special headlight conversion kit with these tabs on it or is there something im not doing?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

what you talkin bout Willis??
sorry but what you've said is a bit confusing??
i have put some Narva 7" H4 headlights in my Sierra and they fitted straight in without changing any of the wiring or taking any "tabs" off. the H4 headlights have a seperate globe which the wiring loom will plug onto, the original headlights are sealed beam but once you put the globe into the H4 headlight you'll see that both the H4 and the sealed beam have 3 tabs for the wiring.
just remove/unplug the original sealed beam headlight, fit the new headlights ( with new globes installed ), re-attach headlight plugs and away you go, it should be just plug and play.
here are some pics of sealed beam and H4 headlights

hmmm.... maybe, i've put a picture of one of them on here too. but.... even if he is, the outer ( chrome/metal ) ring just pulls/slips off the headlight, not welded to anything. still no mods for a H4 conversion needed and all the parts should fit together with out any troubles.
jordan00191, you might need to try explaining it a bit better or let us know if you are talking about the headlight itself or the mounting of the headlight????

Hi, Thanx yeah the mounting ring on the outside is what i am referring to. If the mounting ring is still just a slip off thing i'll take another look at it and see if it still slips off.. But thank you very much guys! Cheers

To take the retainer ring off you need to undo the 3 screws on the back of it. Line it up on the new one it only goes one way then screw back in

im having a similar issue with the basket only having 2 of the three tabs lining up to the three screws that have the springs on them, I got the baskets from LROR, I must have the wrong ones, they make my headlights about 30 degrees anti clockwise pissed.
I dont have the old ones as I have changed my clip from a drover one

LHD lights have a different lens pattern to RHD ones. The mounting tabs are also different LHD/RHD so they don't get accidentally mismatched.
