I went to put my long side axle/CV into my diff this morning to discover it wouldnt go into the centre..
Compared it to the stock axle and it was 150mm shorter than stock. Just a warning to those ordering a set in the near future to check with the LROR that they are correct lengths before they leave the shop.

I am also not overly happy with the quality of the axles compared to my old set. They are obiviously cheaper, the process of production has changed in some way the axles are no longer a matching polished appearance and the splines are cut average at best. Prices have gone up though...

Hope this info helps people in making a worthwhile purchase.

Raise it with LROR.

I assume you paid with credit card too, so if all else fails you could try do a charge back.

I think it was pay pal.

I will definitely be raising it with LROR. No way in fuck would I let this go.
I've got my invoice so there shouldnt be any issue. Its the inconvenience that pisses me off, I have to wait till the 28th if I'm lucky before I can contact them, other wise it will be in the new year.

I would hope they'd send a correct axle ASAP without fail..

I put a set in on christmas eve, definitely didn't have this problem!

Also got an email from LROR this morning so have a crack today and see if they get back to you.

It'd be pretty close to fitting an LJ.

from my own experience and what I've heard LROR has very good customer service so I doubt you'll have any problems getting it sorted.
Personally for front axles and spools I prefer to buy from Trail Tough though.

Those spline have been 'rolled'. This is the quickest and cheapest way of creating splines. Unfortunately the tooling obviously has not seen some maintenance in quite a while! I would ask for my money back.

Yeah, i could tell. Do they use carbide tips that would be easy to change between jobs?

LROR will look after ya.
yeah its a pain in the ass but you wont get ripped if i know them at all.

i bought a pitman arm that turned up as the wrong part. they shipped the right one the next days free of charge and i didnt need to send the old one back at all.
