| Post subject: | SV620 alloy diff broken |
I was out playing today and suffered the dreaded front diff bang in the Vit and had to be towed out. Now am I right that the diff ratio is 4.875 as it is an auto and that the steel one from a GV auto will have the same ratio and mount strait in but the air operated free wheel clutch has to be removed or locked in. Any info will be greatly appreciated I did try searching but could not find all the info I required and if anyone has diff they want to part out. |

The manual GV steel diff I used for my Vitara had a 4.3 ratio fitted.. Most maybe all GV autos use an alloy diff. I'm fairly sure. |

I've got an SV auto centre hear you can buy... in fact I have a whole SV front diff if you just want a replacement. Can't help with a steely I'm afraid - and yes, you need a 98-01ish GV V6 Manual. |
