Is there a blanking plate on the right rear corner of the head? That's where it fits - you remove the blanking plate and fit the pump in it's place - there's also a "push rod" that goes between the pump and the cam, make sure it's there. Hook up the lines (there are three), the fuel line from the tank, the return line to the tank, and the fuel line to the carb. |

Just put the mechanical pump back on and forget about the electric pump. Here's a diagram. The hose associated with the clamp marked 17 goes to the carby The hose associated with clamp marked 25 is 6mm diameter hose and it's the return to the tank The hose above that is 8mm and is the supply from the tank. You'll need item 2 which is the pushrod. The pump is located at the back of the cylinder head on the driver's side. you can see it here: ![]() The hose going forwards to the carby is obscured in this photo. Steve. PS if you don't have a genuine suzuki mechanical pump, get one. The aftermarket pumps are rubbish. I was told this by someone who used to sell them. |

I doubt it, but you'll have to have a look. They're not retained at all - they just slide out if the pump is removed. Steve. |

Hey jake I found the pin on the ground, it must have fallen out when I removed that pump for you. |
