hi my gearbox in my sierra is not the best it has been rebuilt before but doesn't seem to last I have a gti engine a and the gearbox makes a strange noise when you give it some I have 6.5 reduction and hilux diffs with 4.88 s and 35s but am running 32s for more power and better inroads driving is there something I can do to he gearbox to make it better or is there a gearbox from another car I can put in hthat Will be stronger as my sierra Will end up running 40s is there anything I can do? ????

vitara gearbox is an upgrade but requires some work... i'd be going an AW4 auto.
