hi im puting vitara tbi on my g13ba need some help with the plumbing


(FRONT) the two big tubes im guessing the one with hose is fuel in and the other is return. the two tubes im guessing are for vaccum lines to somwhere?

(BACK)these i have no idea but im guessing are for coolant or something

i also have no idea where these hook up, small black hose is vaccum from somewhere i think, the other no idea. haynes manual didnt help. some closeup pictures of your vitara tbi engine bay would be appreciated or some detail as to where it all goes. thanks.

4th pic:
Top piece with small round white cylinder attached is your map sensor.
Not 100% but the other bit in same pic looks like the headlight idle up solenoid. Bolts to front of inlet manifold.

As for the rest.. you'll need a vac advance line to the dissy... Hook it up to any smallish port ABOVE the butterfly.

What year is that from? If you post up the numbers from that valve someone can look it up for you. I have a copy of the FSM EFi pages here:

ok number on the vave is 18117-7C50. so map sensor will attach to anywhere above the butyterfly?

probably should have posted in noob section. what is the plug the line attached to the carb, im wondering will i have to hook it up to the throttle body.

Map sensor attaches to manifold or below butterfly.
Vac advance attaches above butterfly.

ok worked out a few things out today the throttle body appears to be off of a 1.6 swift and the manual here seems to line up http://auszookers.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 11166d9d8b.
1st/2nd pic is fuel in & fuel return, and two vaccum lines
3rd pic top pipe is for coolant return to tube underneath intake manifold and another is from the intake manifold. one is for the isc just have to find a torch and see which leads straight to the butter fly. the one with hose leads to the cavity underneath its just for air but cant find where it should lead yet
