heat gun is good... heat the crap of it but don't burn the paint.

solvent can clean up the left over glue.

is there anything that won't melt the paint underneath that will work?

use a heat gun, slowly peel the edge then heat the section in front thats still attached to the panel. be carefull not to heat too much as it will make the sticker brittle.

no easy answer that i know of, slow and carefull

Take the doors off will get rid of most of the graphics.

Heat gun, good scraper blade and and a product called 'Oomph' to clean up glue residue.

There is a wheel that you can get for your Grinder i've seen it at most tool shops. Again you can't leave it in one spot too long.

Just peel off as much as you can by hand, then apply ti-tree oil or eucalyptus oil (can't remember which) to remove the stick residue.
It worked on my old lux...

wait for another stinking hot day & park it in the sun, then start at one end & slowly peel it off. it's all in the angle of attack when peeling the wak decals off

That is a caramel wheel and they work great on acrylic stickers like pinstripe but not on plastic stickers like Suzuki graphics.

Bristol paint suppliers sell an excellent product aimed at removing stickers, the sticky residue, and graffitti.

It's under $10

I've never used it.. I found out about it just after I finished taking mine off with razors. (Always the way)

Got a 40 cal Glock that will remove just about anything. I hear a 12 gauge will do the same.

try leaving it in the sun for a while before taking the sticker off with your nails. I did this once, worked pretty good. Depends how old the stickers are i think.

mine came off real easy, unfortunately they werent factory ones but put on by a dealer to hide some dents and the glue affected the paint, so now I have a big grey crazy crack swish up the side :)

Don't use metal razor blades!! Too much risk of damaging paint. You can get plastic blades that help. Also a citris based solvent works well on the residue. Heat gun or hair dryer as already mentioned.

hair dryer works well but it takes a long time especially on mine because the graphics are 26 individual 4mm strips that run the whole length of the car 8O

I got mine off in two hours with Two people.

1) Park Vehicle outside so that the panels are hot.
2) Create a mix of 1/8 thinners. 2/8 Citrus Orange sticker remover and 5/8 Prepsol (aka Wax and Grease Remover)
3) Use a hair dryer (Thats what i used when the heat gun shat itself)
and carefully heat up the associated area while using a plastic ruler (be careful using a ruler because it slightly scratches the paint to some extent) or proper plastic scraper to remove the sticker.

NOTE: If you heat up the sticker evenly it should come off as one whole piece. If the sticker cracks off or breaks its because the sticker mostlikely wasnt hot enough.

4) Use the Wax and Grease remover / Thinners / Citrus Mix to remove the sticky Residue.

Also take note that my sticker was in real bad shape. As in it was about 20 years old and was cracked and sperarted in some areas. I honestly thought it was not going to come off without wrecking or scratching the paint bad enough to need a respray.
