i needed to replace my brake hoses on my 94 vitara got the new hoses and was easy as came to bleeding my breaks and there is no nipples on them :S never done brakes with no nipples can some please tell me how do i bleed then with the bolts at the bottom? sort of tried that but still have nothing |

right rear has no bleed nipple, left rear & both fronts should have them? the one on the left rear is on the back of the backing plate by the coil spring. bleed left rear first, front left, then front right. |

There is also a bleed nipple on the bias valve, mounted to chassis on drivers side rear. |

cheers, i found it and brakes are now good they have little rubber bit on them and didnt see them from all the gunk covering them |

Thanks for that Gus. On a vaguely related note - does anyone know what size the bleeder screw on Vit calipers is? The Speed Bleeder website lists it as M10x1.0, but it's much smaller than that. I'm guessing M8, but can someone confirm? |

Nup, all gone. Removed one with the intention of chucking the speed bleeder in, and held them next to each other. As above, I reckon it's M8, but no way of knowing for sure. I thought I had put Speed Bleeders in the SV calipers I had on the old car, but can't have been the 1010s. I also bought a set for the Trumpy at the time, which are listed as 8125 (M8 x 1.25) so maybe that was what I put in...? |
