Hey guys, so Ive just installed a Spartan locker into the rear diff of my Suzuki Sierra, and had the backlash and pinion depth set by a diff expert.
I installed the diff, filled it with oil, put the axles and wheels back on, and spun a wheel a few 100 revolutions (well... enough) to get the oil flowing, put the passengers side wheel on the deck, and when I tried to spin the opposite wheel it wouldn't unlock.
Now before I tear it down, the driveshaft isn't connected to the diff as the tf case is out currenty. Now I'm still learning here, but does the pinion need to have torque applied to it for the locker to unlock or have I done something wrong completely.
Hoping someone can help me out, with that question first... and if that doesnt solve it were going back to the drawing board
Thanks in advance from one frustrated Zooker
Cheers
