Hey guys, So my sierre brake proportioning valve is stuffed. I can get a vitara one for free but will it work? Or should i buy a sierra one? If anyone knows please let me know because i need to know today but i won't have enough time to go and grab the vitara one and take it back and try it. Thanks |

Sorry big pic, it will get smaller soon.. Note the amount of bias is controlled by the lever, which attaches to A arm by a spring. You can de spring and adjust manually |

Thanks Guys!!! If the thread and spanner size is the same it should work might need to slightly bend the line. |

Sierra and vit are totally different. Vits are load sensing. Spring to diff etc. Sierras are not. Why is your prop valve stuffed? Pull it out and pull it apart? I have a stocko one here if needed.. 2 in, 1 out valve L shape, bolts onto chassis 3/4 up the length of the chassis. |

I dropped my car off at a mates as i have no time and just told him to sort my brakes out so i haven't actually seen how it can be pulled apart he just told me its seized and i know the rear brakes haven't worked in a long time. Could i still use the Vit one and adjust manually? How much would you want for yours posted to Wyong NSW, 2259? |
