Hey guys,

So my sierre brake proportioning valve is stuffed.

I can get a vitara one for free but will it work?

Or should i buy a sierra one?

If anyone knows please let me know because i need to know today but i won't have enough time to go and grab the vitara one and take it back and try it.

Thanks

I had a Sierra, now have a Vitara, thread and spanner size is the same.

No idea if it would work though.

Sorry big pic, it will get smaller soon..
Note the amount of bias is controlled by the lever, which attaches to A arm by a spring. You can de spring and adjust manually

Thanks Guys!!! If the thread and spanner size is the same it should work might need to slightly bend the line.

Sierra and vit are totally different. Vits are load sensing. Spring to diff etc. Sierras are not.

Why is your prop valve stuffed? Pull it out and pull it apart? I have a stocko one here if needed..

2 in, 1 out valve L shape, bolts onto chassis 3/4 up the length of the chassis.

I dropped my car off at a mates as i have no time and just told him to sort my brakes out so i haven't actually seen how it can be pulled apart he just told me its seized and i know the rear brakes haven't worked in a long time.

Could i still use the Vit one and adjust manually?

How much would you want for yours posted to Wyong NSW, 2259?
