First of all happy strayla day fellows zookers, just a quick one, doin some repairs on my vit and sierra at the moment and as I have 2 cars in bits I can't remember everything, just wanted to know if anyone that has the vit/sierra Haynes manual found it as a good guide or is it useless?

they're good for wiping greasy prints on the pages... that's about it. from the ones i've seen there is very little in the way of detail in them & they're a bit like pointing & saying it's "that" way to a blind man.

you're better off chasing down a copy of the FSM (Factory Service Manual). www.suzukiinfo.com would be one place to start.

I was thinking that would be your answer in a round about way, what one of my vehicles can have pretty much anything within reason bolted forwards of the transfer case into it? Whaddya reckon?

was just thinking something small lightweight and simple with good grunt, more.than a modded.g13 anyways, donk in the sierra has .o compression on no.1 the rest have 150, should I fix or start a.project?

X2 Haynes manuals are rubbish. I reckon they make most jobs harder because they're so confusing.

I spose the only place to get a FSM would be from Suzuki, better remove my left nut then and put it on the black market so I can afford it!

There are sources for them on line.

I don't know what Suzuki charge for them. Might be cheap at any price though if it saves you stuffing something up or having to take your car to a workshop to get fixed.

Yeah cheers steve i was just taking the piss 50 bux or so for.a good manual to use as a guide is far cheaper than a small fuk up that can cause a big problem, and end up costing a lot more than a pineapple!

Had a quik squiz on egay, there are a heap of so called FSM's on discs for under 10 bux? Anyone ever bought one of these, I should just order one if it was shite, hey its only 10 bux.
