the fan in my heater stopped working for no aparent reason although when the fan switch is on it still draws power does anyone have any idea what might of happened? Cheers mike |

mine blew a couple fuses then it stopped blowing fuses but still didn't work |

there was no reason for the wiring to go wrong though if something like that went wrong would it still be drawing power when switched on? |

probably seized, pull it out and see if you can spin it by hand, might even be clogged with leaves |

How do you know it is still drawing power? Cut a hole in the side of the heater box and clean out all the leaves that WILL be in there, and like Royce said, spin it to see if it is seized. Someone was selling a heater on here or Outers too... |

Could be the resitor wires broken too Would start with the fan then look for the resitor in the circuit. Should be three little coily thingy's that are in the airway somewhere |

i think its drawing power becausewhen i turn the fan on the voltage drops |
