G/box bush at the bottom of the stick I'm guessing or you don't have the gates lined up right. |

Need to make sure all the gates are lined up so the stick goes into the right place. Was there a bush at the bottom of the stick? If not that I'm sure would be your prob. They are cheap to buy |

Just make sure that the three notches on the selector rods are all in line across - You can move them with a screw driver or such. |

Is the starter spinning? If so it's the gear throw out (Bendix) that is stuck. |

Pull the starter out and see why it is stuck and fix it and just a thought - It is not connected the wrong way round is it? IE solenoid to ground? |
