Hey Guys,

Looking for help with my clutch set up...

Problem:
Clutch pedal pivot bolt has snapped/bent three times now.
Every time it goes, no clutch.
The pedal bolt was replaced with a genuine one from Suzuki last time, along with new bushes.
This time round, I've replaced the bolt as usual, but still have no clutch.

I tightened the cluch cable right up, still nothing.
Checked the lever on the gearbox is moving with the pedal, it's moving.
Have pulled the gearbox out, put the bell housing back on so I can see what's happening.
Seems to be not enough movement for the clutch to opperate properly, cable streching? Going to order a new cable on monday.
Put a 600mm long bar on the clutch leaver on the gearbox, it will disengage by hand but requires a lot of effort to do it.

I'm thinking the car may have a high pressure plate which is breaking the pedal bolts, about one a every 4 months, so looking to replace with a standard one.

Any thoughts on what else could be happening?
Have I missed looking at anything else real basic?
How can I tell if the pressure plate is after market/ up rated?
Found the number PBRFH264 on the pressure plate, but cannot find any referance to this number on the web and PBR are closed till monday.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.
