Post subject:  Gti into sierra wiring details

I am starting a gti conversion into my Sierra in a few weeks & I am getting alot of different information about the wiring. I am looking for someone who has done this themself not posting other information. Really need GOOD advise about wiring the efi into the Zook.

that pretty much spells it all out for you... if you're not confident about the wiring, get onto Killa Kustom Kables

I bit more info may help . None of it matches what ? I only have experience with mk1 gti's , they are a bit easier I guess . What model engine do you have ?
Dissy should not be a drama , either cut the firewall or fit a right angle kit ( have heard they are not the best thou ) . I have had to machine one to fit and know of another that siezed up .

Step back sit down and have a beer , then tell us the full story .

You should never cut a firewall, thats a stat write off..
the bought angle drives are a littke sketchy, there are still a bunch of mine running round aus.

I think it is a mk2. I cant afford the right angle conversion but have read about mazda one that fits from a 323 gtx. Only problem is I cant find one online. I am living in far North QLD & dont have to many options. I am doing the whole conversion myself exept for the exhaust. I think all will be ok just need to know more about the mazda dizzy cap. I am not grinding the cap down as Suzispares has told me to do & not cutting the firewall at all.Everone here has been very helpfull & I will put all pictures on here as soon as finished in about 2 weeks or so, give or take. Gremlins are sure to hamper the end finish time.

I read about the dissy cap when we installed the first gti I wired , as I said it was a mk1 . Since it was a trailer queen a hole was bored into the firewall . The second used an angle kit , that did not fit . Mine is not in a 413 so no issue with the dissy .

I have not seen the cap required in the hand but think this would be an aftermarket version of it .

Do you have a wiring diagram that matches the engine you have , or are you still tring to sort the dissy for now ?

The cap wont fit a mk1 anyways!
angle drives DONT work on mk2/3's

I think I have sorted out the dizzy cap issue. Now for the efi fuel pump & hoses. I am told my sj80 tank is good to go with a Vitara efi pump just need to know about the fuel lines? Anyone have any experience with these?

I have it all hooked up to the engine just got a little scared with all the left over wiring but I have just got a good wiring diagram that might just fix it all. Thanks heaps mate. I might just do that after all anyway, but I do want to do it all myself.
