so I bought this Maruti front section a week ago and took it to the fiberglasser to have the sides redone as one was split and the laminate was peeling. just got it back this arvo and I'm trying to fit it but nothing lines up. I'm assuming maruti didn't use pop rivets to hold the mounts on and that someone else has done this. One side is alright but the other is about 50mm out, I think the bracket is to short. I shelled out and purchased suzuki latches from suzi store but again the front hardware in the top must be someones bodge job because with the maruti latches that I bought the top is held down more when they are open than closed. Even then I would not trust the fit to drive down the highway with it like that. Can anyone shed some light on what hardware is supposed to be connected to the top, or what I need to get to fit this properly? Just a bit frustrated because I dropped $700 on this front section and currently a $10 piece of ply would probably do a better job. Thanks everyone Rossco

I have found the hardware that attaches to the roof from suzi store, the roof hook. I think I will order two more latches and four hooks. Does anyone have a picture of the stock roof setup? google hasn't yielded anything useful.

hey whincup I see that your roof has a raised section to mount the roof hook to, mine doesn't have one, its just flat. You reckon I can mount the hook with a spacer of some sort and a screw? I think that might tear out through the fiberglass if pressure was put on it for a long time.

Definately NOT a Maruti top. And yes the Maruti has a textured finish.
